Travis Carlson is the owner, operator, and Registered Massage Therapist (MTAS) at Armour and Arrow Therapies. In 2006 he obtained his Massage Therapy and Sports Training and Therapy Diplomas, and in 2017 after working multiple years in a Chiropractic clinic decided to open his own massage therapy business. Travis’s focus for Armour and Arrow Therapies is on family, health and sports fitness with the goal and dream of helping everyone who comes through its doors. Travis is married to Carmène, and together they are raising three beautiful boys, Augustin, Griffin, and Sullivan.
John graduated from Axiom Career College in 2019 and is a member of MTAS. His focus is on Deep Tissue Treatments, Trigger Point Therapy and treating athletes (he gives a killer deep tissue massage). He is experienced with Myofascial Cupping, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), Deep Tissue Massage, Pre/Post Natal Massage and Relaxation treatments. In 2021, John was able to receive his Personal Training Certificate with the International Sport Science Association (ISSA) to help with homecare and demonstrating exercises. When he is not giving a great massage, he can usually be found at the gym, playing sports, or walking his dog with his wife Michelle.
Alyssa was born and raised in Kamloops, BC. After receiving her Bachelor of Kinesiology from UBC, she moved to Saskatoon to attend the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy and pursue a career in therapeutic massage. Alyssa specializes in Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Relaxation Massage, Pre/Post-Natal Massage, and Myofascial Cupping. She believes massage is an important tool in maintaining a healthy mind and body. While not at work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband Ty, her daughter Rayleigh, her dog Hazy, and loves practicing yoga and being outdoors.
Lin is the owner, and Registered Massage Therapist of I Am Health, which is located within Armour and Arrow Therapies. With 10+ years of experience in natural health and massage, Lin can provide you and your body with effective natural solutions that will ease your pain, increase positive emotion output, and allow for overall better body functionality. Lin offers a range of massage services including Reflexology, Relaxation Massage, Visceral Manipulation, Craniosacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage and Deep Tissue Therapy Massage. Carmène owns and helps manage Armour and Arrow Therapies. She works behind the scenes to ensure Armour and Arrow runs smoothly. Carmène is also a Licensed Practical Nurse and has been working in various health settings for the past 17 years. She is a podcast and audiobook junkie, loves playing Mario Cart and board games with her boys, and in her spare time can be found getting stronger at the gym.
